Where is the Pride parade?

Where is the Pride Parade?

The Pride Parade kicks off at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2025, starting at Westport Rd. & Broadway Blvd. It proceeds south on Broadway, continues onto Mill Creek Parkway, then turns left onto Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd, ending at Theis Park.
Viewing is free—pick your favorite spot along the route! A parade route map will be available below.

Where is KC PrideFest held?

KC PrideFest occurs at Theis Park (47th & Oak St.), directly across from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

There are two main entrances: the West Entrance on Oak St. near Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. East Entrance at the roundabout inside the Kauffman Memorial Garden parking lot (also a trolley pick-up/drop-off point).

Sunday, June 8 – 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Where can I park for the festival?

Free parking is available at:

UMKC Cherry Street Garage (Levels 2 and above) – 5115 Oak St.
Church of the Resurrection Brookside – 5144 Oak St.
Any of the 9 public garages in the Country Club Plaza
Shuttle buses will run continuously between these locations and the festival.
Accessible parking is available at the Kauffman Memorial Garden (4800 Rockhill Rd.).

Rideshare Drop-off: 4800 Rockhill Rd.
Public Transit: RideKC Bus Route #47 (stop at Main St. & 47th)

What is the cost of admission?

Admission is $5 per day. Children 12 and under are free.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate (cash or card accepted)

Outside food and beverages are not allowed.
You may bring an empty water bottle, which can be filled for free at the KC Water Bar throughout the festival.
Enjoy a wide selection of food trucks and a bar area for guests 21+.

Yes! ADA parking is available at the Kauffman Memorial Garden with accessible sidewalk access into the park.

Reserved seating areas near sidewalks for easier navigation
ADA-compliant restrooms will be available
Note: Most of the park is grassy terrain

Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags (no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”)

Yes! We encourage photos and videos—capture your Pride memories! Just be respectful of performers, volunteers, and fellow guests’ privacy.
